Born and raised in a small town in Nebraska, I started dancing at the age of 4. I trained in a variety of genres in my 14 years of study at my local studio, Desiree’s Dancers. As I grew older, I became an apprentice assistant with the younger dancers and loved getting to spending so much time at the studio. I was thrilled to be given my own classes to instruct and share my knowledge of dance with the next generation before moving to the Charlotte area about 3 months ago. I am currently finishing my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. I will be graduating at the end of this fall semester after completing my student teaching. I feel so very fortunate to be joining the Encore dance family as an instructor! Looking forward to sharing my love for dance with so many young dancers!

What our customers have to say
While I watched the competition, there were some distinct differences in the groups of dancers. The Encore groups danced to music that was family appropriate and in a style that was very classy and talent-oriented. I am very glad to have my daughter in an organization that has good taste and understands the value of substance over flashy style.BW - Parent
